I slept too long! 9:30 in the morning, I love it! Our friends are expecting us for 10 a.m., we tell them that we will be there at 10:30 a.m. We hurry. Finally heavy traffic in 2 streets. We will arrive at 11 a.m. Roundabouts are great, but when there is traffic between two, it is very difficult to pass knowing that you have to give way to those who are already in the roundabout.
We arrive at the hotel, Max and Andrea are rested and ready for a day of discovery. We take them to Garachico, see the natural pools and eat at the restaurant where we stopped with Marie-Andrée the last time, El Galetón. Delicious meal again, good service. We like the place.
We will then swim in the natural pools. Louis, Max and Andrea will even jump off a rock while I videotape them. Then after an hour or two, we head to our new destination: the Teide volcano.

We take the northern route, as recommended by the lady at the marina in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. We see different landscapes in our ascent. It's about 25 degrees in the climb, 20 degrees in the clouds, and surprisingly: 28 at the top of the clouds (between 6-7:30 p.m.). We go to the base of the cable car, but we do not go up there. We look at the landscape then we take another path and stop to take pictures. Extraordinary landscape! Difficult to show you all its greatness in a photo.
We then return to the boat to leave their bags there and we walk to a restaurant on the edge of the ocean. We have dinner around 9:30 p.m. Once again, delicious meals: Louis and Max had meat, Andrea octopus and me pasta. We return around 11 p.m. Superb evening!
Quick explanation to our guests of the cabin lights and how the toilet works, the men then hose themselves down on the dock at 11:30 p.m. and a well-deserved sleep afterwards.
