Louis tries to slow down to arrive at the same time as us in Horta. Last night, he was about 50 nautical miles off the coast of Florès. He decided not to pass between the two islands in the end. He woke up this morning to a stunning sunrise.
He will therefore spend part of the day admiring Flores before heading back to Horta to set foot on solid ground.
Wind of 7-8 knots (13-15km/h) in PM, 9-10 knots (17-19km/h) in the evening, 7 knots at night
23 degree today
Sun all day (with a smile like that, I understand that the sun wants to stay.)
"Land ho"/"land ahoy" or "Terre en vue", that's what Louis should have shouted, if he had a companion on board, when he saw the land. Knowing him, he probably did it anyway! ;)
